EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a type of therapy that uses bilateral stimulation to help clients process distressing memories and feelings, such as those associated with traumatic memories. EMDR has been proven effective for several diagnoses, including, but not limited to, post-trauamtic stress disorder. This type of therapy requires little to no verbal processing with the therapist. We also provide EMDR intensives, which you can learn more about by clicking below.

Trauma-Focused Treatment

Trauma-Focused therapists are those who have extensive training and experience working with trauma and take particular care when working with traumatized clients.

Queer Mental Health

People in the LGBTQ+ community face unique challenges that people outside of the community often do not understand. Therapists familiar with queer mental health have the experience necessary to better empathize with queer clients and help them navigate these challenges.
